FEEDING
DRY SEED MIXTURE: comprising millets and plain canary seed.
FRESH WATER: for drinking.
REGULAR GREENS: such as finely chopped milk thistle, endive, dandelion, seeding grasses, etc.
CUTTLEFISH, SHELLGRIT, CHARCOAL.
HOUSING
AVIARIES*: minimum height 60cm; 7200 sq.cm. first bird, add 3600sq.cm. per extra bird
CAGES*: minimum height 34cm; 1600 sq.cm. first bird, add 800 sq.cm. per extra bird
PLANTS: most individuals do not chew the plants in the aviary. Beware of toxic plants
MIXING: Generally tolerant of other birds even the smallest finches. May become aggressive to other dove species.
